A Vision for Prescott’s Future
Prescott is a city rich in history, natural beauty, and a strong sense of community. As our city grows, we must ensure that development is responsible, sustainable, and aligned with the needs of residents. My experience as a water engineer, public servant, and community advocate has prepared me to tackle the challenges ahead with practical solutions and informed decision-making.
On city council, I will fight for balanced growth, better water management, government accountability, and public safety -- to ensure Prescott remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family. Together, we can shape a future which respects our past while planning wisely for the generations to come.

A SMARTER FUTURE FOR PRESCOTT
Sustainable Growth & Development
Growth is inevitable, but it must be balanced to ensure long-term water security, infrastructure capacity, and quality of life. Development should align with the city’s master plans and community needs, not just short-term interests. I have fought for years to hold Prescott accountable to its own development agreements. On city council, I will work to ensure new developments align with our infrastructure capabilities and quality of life.
Water Conservation & Management
My expertise lies in water engineering and the sustainable management of water resources to support the long-term development and well-being of the community. I look forward to bringing my civil engineering experience to city council.
Open Space
Protecting our open space is vital. Not only is our vast open space one of the reasons so many of us moved here, but it is essential to our tourism economy as well. I fully support Prop. 484 (Protect Our Open Space). I also worked closely with Save the Dells to draft the ballot language for that charter amendment.
Infrastructure & Traffic
As both a city engineer and a consulting engineer, I designed and managed the construction of many local, collector, and arterial streets. I understand the vital importance infrastructure capacity plays in the health and safety of a growing community. Having said that, new development must pay its pro rata share for any increase in necessary infrastructure costs it created.
Economic Development
Economic development begins with plans for economic corridors to entice prospective businesses. Not only would this save businesses time and money in research, it would allow the city to plan and control the growth of these commercial corridors. As a council member, I will work to implement these corridors.
Government Accountability & Transparency
I believe in honest, open governance -- a lesson learned from decades in public service. I will demand transparency in city decisions and work to ensure citizen voices are heard in all policymaking.
Public Safety
Public safety is the primary responsibility of government. And protecting those who protect us is equally important. As a council member, I will work tirelessly to make sure our city has the services we need AND our first responders have the resources they need to do their jobs.
